Dance School Website & Logo

Business Overview

We created a dance school website and designed a logo for J.A.M Dance Academy, based in Worthing, West Sussex. Originally the dance academy was called Hollis School of Dance and Drama, and wanted a complete rebrand. This rebrand saw a change of name, along with a brand new logo and website in order to reach more potential students.

Website Design and Development

As J.A.M Dance Academy wanted to rebrand and reach potential new students, it was important that the branding was clear on their website. Therefore, we ensured the brand was consistent throughout the site and that it was mobile friendly, ready to target the ideal audience.

Photoshoot

In order to create an effective website, we required some strong imagery. Therefore, we set up and provided J.A.M Dance Academy with a photoshoot as part of this project to capture the essence of a dance academy.

On-Page SEO

As J.A.M Dance Academy’s goal was to rebrand and gain more students for the academy, it was important we completed on-page SEO. This meant we built each page around keywords such as ‘dance school worthing’. By doing so, we are incrasing the chances of the website appearing in the top 3 results on Google when potential new customers browse the internet.

Social Media Account Setup and Management

As J.A.M Dance Academy’s largest target audience is children, we needed to choose platforms that parents would be using. Therefore, Instagram and Facebook were the best solutions to increase brand awareness and reach potential new students.

Logo Design

When creating a new logo design for J.A.M Dance Academy, it was important we met their requirements. One of these was surrounding the colour scheme. It was important to Joanne, the owner, that the colour scheme wasn’t your typical shades of pink as this is done with a lot of dance schools. Another requirement was that the font was a mix of traditional and modern to represent the traditional styles of dance in the modern day.

Flyers and Posters

To aid with the new launch of the website, J.A.M Dance Academy needed some new leaflets to help gain some brand awareness and new students. We developed a double sided leaflet focussing on the strong imagery of the dancers.
